Position Overview:
Our Disaster Recovery team is growing and currently looking for a Sr Disaster Recovery Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Disaster Recovery, in this role you'll be a key contributor by leading efforts for various business services. You'll work closely with cross functional teams and leadership to prove resiliency in the event of a disaster. You'll help to modernize our DR plans and will have exposure to various cutting edge technologies. This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and the individual can sit anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities:
Work with Disaster Recovery leader to direct and oversee all organization-wide disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures that ensure the security and integrity of Trustmark data, databases, information systems, and technology Develop disaster recovery and resumption plans for the critical processes and systems that are core to Trustmark's continued business operations in the event of a disruption Define, test and mature the Disaster Recovery capabilities Ensure platform recovery strategies support DR readiness requirements. Organize review of DR recovery plan documentation to ensure adherence to the DR framework Oversee activities to ensure all Disaster Recovery procedures and plans are tested, documented and monitored and provide rapid response and recovery to system events Oversee end to end planning and execution of platform DR plan by coordinating efforts with various technology SME's while adhering to the approved RACI Oversee DR tests/exercises to identify gaps and ensure continuous improvement Focus on site reliability engineering including automation, system design, and improvements to system resilience Direct and oversee risk analysis for all Platform services to determine vulnerable points in the system and establish strategies for risk mitigation Participate in Design meetings to ensure new designs/changes confirm to DR framework Participate in Change Management meetings to review upcoming changes that impact DR Participate in Incident Management meetings to review incidents that impact DR Host regular meetings with Platform service owners to review issues, changes and risks
Qualifications:
Strong intellectual curiosity Bachelor's Degree and 5
years of hand-on experience in IT Disaster Recovery Deep understanding of industry best practices and standards High level of attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational and communication skills (including the ability to interface with senior leadership Project management experience Knowledge of Backups and Storage, Windows, VMware technologies Ability to facilitate group discussions, training/awareness meetings and exercise scenarios Strong skills in developing cross functional relationships and build team consensus Team player with ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment where many associates work from home Flexible schedule to accommodate very occasional weekend work
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
IT SecurityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
