We are looking for someone who has B2B sales / account management experience doing the work listed below to join our team, grow their career, and help grow our company.
Sales and/or account management experience in any industry is acceptable (we will train the right person) and bonus points will be awarded for experience in the construction/millwork industry.
Johnston Millwork has an amazing reputation around the Bay Area for producing exquisite millwork products including custom doors, cabinets, and molding.
We focus primarily on professional builders, which may range in scale from small to large production builders.
As an Salesperson, you will:
Work full-time Monday through Friday from our office in Redwood City, CA.
Be responsible for delivering exceptional service for a portfolio of clients where you see the sales cycle from beginning to end as their primary point of contact Be responsible for bringing in new accounts and owning those accounts Start out earning $22-30/hr, based upon experience Earn pay raises as you demonstrate your ability to sell Earn uncapped monthly commission on closed business for new and existing accounts you manage Earn a $450 bonus after your 45th day of employment Earn a second $450 bonus after your 90th day of employment Earn bonuses and incentives for projects that come in on-time and under-budget Be eligible for health insurance, paid-time-off vacation, and other benefits after a probationary period In a typical week you will:
Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person at our office Educate clients about the Company's products and services and about the processes involving the client related to the purchase and installation of the project Design projects using company software Follow up with clients for project approvals Prospect to bring in new business Collect project deposits from clients Manage existing projects including ordering materials from vendors and updating clients on their project status, and scheduling delivery of finished materials Update information in our project management system Qualified candidates MUST:

Experience in the millwork industry / experience with cabinetry and door manufacturing and installation Experience in the construction industry Proven work experience as in Sales (Inside Sales or Outside Sales) Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role Demonstrated project management skills in demonstrating passion for the customer Excellent communication and problem solving skills Bilingual in English & Spanish What does our hiring process look like?
