The Sage Group is looking for a Writer to work with our client, the number one independent provider of data integration software. In this role, you will support the Content and Customer Marketing team, which is responsible for delivering compelling, differentiated content that resonates with customers, partners, and employees. Specifically, you will report to the Director, Audience Marketing, and create thought leadership articles and email content for our client's six persona-based Potential at Work Communities for Developers, Application Leaders, Architects, Information Leaders, IT Leaders, and Sales & Marketing Leaders. This global marketing initiative is instrumental in cultivating awareness of the pain points these personas face and plays a strategic role in driving demand for our client's products and services.
Responsibilities Include:
Understand and articulate the instrumental role data plays in today's business landscape as well as its ability to transform the world moving forward
Transcend the confines of traditional marketing copy writing by translating stakeholder vision into high-quality thought leadership content for a growing audience-based community
Translate marketing priorities and the organization's vision into decidedly product-agnostic thought leadership
Explain how disruptive enterprise technology trends are driving the restructuring of traditional IT and business roles
Evangelize the value of the program in order to recruit internal and external subject matter experts to interview and promote the program
Write about both aspirational and tactical topics in persona-appropriate tone and voice
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, in product marketing, product management, content and customer marketing, corporate demand generation and campaigns, and field marketing
Work with the customer advocacy and partner marketing teams to identify compelling stories that will resonate globally across personas
Solicit feedback from stakeholders and customers and diplomatically prioritize revisions
Work with web development, translation, and marketing automation teams to usher content through the web and email production processes
Participate in global field marketing and sales enablement efforts
Write compelling email copy and web promotional elements that target the program's differing personas
Understand the intricacies of creating content for global readership and deliver content that is optimized for translation
Measure the program's progress through core web and email metrics and use them to guide future success
Skills Required:
5
years' experience in a B2B marketing, writing, journalist, or content development role
Enterprise technology and business domain expertise, with writing samples to back it up
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling copy
Resourceful and skilled in leveraging existing assets and creative in choosing how to use them
Firm grasp of marketing concepts and the role of content in the varying stages of the customer lifecycle
Collaborative in a cross-functional capacity across all levels of an organization, including product marketing, marketing operations, social media, field marketing, alliance partner marketing, and customer advocacy
Highly organized and able to balance and prioritize shifting and competing priorities
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Understand web production, workflows, technologies, and processes
Established social media presence and participation in relevant online communities

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
