Our client, an exciting tech company in Redwood City has engaged us in a search for a Receptionist/Greeter. Are you friendly and outgoing with a professional appearance? Do you have at least 1 year of experience working in a corporate setting? If so, you may be the perfect fit for this position! This is a temp-perm position, and the pay is DOE.
Greet all guests, employees and visitors with a smile on your face
Direct visitors and contract employees to the appropriate locations
Answer, screen and direct inbound calls
Receive & sort mail and deliveries
Assist in organizing weekly Headquarters Lunch
Maintain the reception area and kitchen, place orders for the office and receive kitchen and office supplies on a weekly basis
Ad hoc projects from Executive Admins and the HR department

1+ years minimum working in an office environment, preferably in a receptionist/greeter role
High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
Must be able to lift 20lbs.
Knowledge of computers and MS Office Suite
Superior customer service principles and practices

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
