A well funded Ad-tech company has an immediate need for a Senior Visual Designer with 6
years of experience performing visual design for large-scale, corporate web sites and web applications.
Reporting to the VP of UX, this person will lead visual design work for individual projects, including creating initial design concepts and directions, iconography and graphic imagery, coordinated color palettes, and best-practice design for usability. You will create presentation-layer code for some of the design work, integrate page-performance and research data/feedback for design solutions, design app, website, and campaign pages, and ensure consistency of visual design elements within pages and applications.
You will work with User Experience, Product Managers, Marketing, and business stakeholders on project requirements, and on some projects, act as the Visual Design Project Lead, managing the project schedule and approvals for the team deliverables. You'll prepare all visual design documents, write guidelines, document design decisions, and create style guides, including the integration of guidelines from interaction designers.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with B2B desired
Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Strong working knowledge of Internet technologies
Experience with project management, including setting schedules and delivering to those schedules
Ability to provide direction, leadership, and collaboration in the creative process from conception to final production
Extreme attention to detail and commitment to high-quality production standards
Must be proactive and innovative
Must be able to work in a team environment with an iterative design process
