Event Planner - Product Management

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

In thisposition, we are seeking an outbound product manager to drivetransformation across our prospect, customer, and partner event marketing effortsfor our IaaS line of business. The ideal candidate understands that all campaignsneed to be strategically based, deliver measurable ROI, and drive immediate andpersistent change in brand perceptions. We need a person who thrives in acollaborative environment and has a proven track record working successfullywith cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
Drive, plan,and execute marketing events; trade shows, industry conferences, seminars, webinars,thought leadership programs and social events across LOB, customer, and partnerchannels
Develop andmanage budget, calendar, demand gen, and post-event nurture programs
Evaluate, measure and report on strategic effectiveness and ROI for program efforts
Coordinate endto end aspects of event, including logistics, content, promotional materials,attendee tracking, demo resources, exhibit setup, AV & cateringrequirements etc.
Work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution
Collaboratewith sales, marketing, and technical leadership
Source andmanage contractors/vendors, from contract, to execution and reporting
Qualifications
5-7 years of professional experience in a global marketing/communications environment in cloud industry preferred.
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
Strong cross-functional team/project management, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Must be flexible, innovative, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with keen eye on detail
Strong written and verbal skills
Must possess in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Eloqua and marketing automation systems (Fusion) experience preferred
25% travel
Our team islocated in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
