Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 more years of software engineering or related experience.

Position Description:
Our team is responsible for the development of Oracle Infrastructure Monitoring Cloud Service, a platform which monitors the performance of a customer's IT infrastructure whether it resides on-premise or in the cloud. The team is responsible for designing and implementing the user interface using JavaScript and RESTful Web Services. In addition, the team builds monitoring support for the middleware components, including WebLogic, Apache Tomcat and JBoss.
Candidates must have all of the following technical skills:
BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent
15-20 years of experience in software development
Development experience with J2EE applications
Development experience with JSON and XML
Development experience with REST
Database development with a good knowledge of Oracle database, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC and Oracle database development
The following skills are desirable:
UI Development including JET, JavaScript and ADF
Understanding of cloud technologies such as Kafka and HDFS
