QA Analyst 3-ProdDev
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Application Labs (OAL) builds and manages mission critical applications that run the Oracle Cloud. A part of the Engineering organization, OAL is fundamentally focused on the enabling the transformation to the Cloud including the application areas of CPQ, Quote to Cash, Service Provisioning, Order Management, Subscription Plan Management, Customer Lifecycle Management, Usage and Billing, Cloud Store, Tenant Management, Partner Store and others. In all, these solutions are an integral part of Oracle Public Cloud Strategy and is a new paradigm for software development in a fast paced development environment.

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for planning and executing functional manual test scripts to support the Cloud Framework. This will include the developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. You will also develop and execute software test scripts and analyze and write test standards and procedures. Duties & tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. You will maintain documentation of test results and analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.
Preferred Background
BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent
8 years of experience in working in a team of quality engineers
Experience with multi-layer enterprise applications like Quoting, Store, Order Management, Provisioning, Contracts
Experience in test case authoring and manual testing
Familiar with different kinds of testing and test coverage techniques
Familiar with QA processes and the SDLC (Software Development Life cycle).
Experience with bug tracking & test case management systems (i.e. JIRA)
Experience testing SAAS applications is a plus
Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, self-motivated and perform well under pressure
Experience as a member of a scrum team is a plus
