Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are looking for developers who can design & implement highly scalable, robust, and efficient infrastructure for large scale, big data storage problems. While protection & accessibility of data using our Availability & Replication technology remains one of our main focus, we continue to investigate & develop software aimed as providing a cohesive and uniform view of the data. We are starting several new projects to increase the power of Active Data Guard infrastructure in the areas of application-transparency, hardware variability, and performance to handle even the most demanding workloads. The team is composed of recent grads and senior developers who have many decades of combined development experience in database, systems, and network programming. Experience and/or interest in replication technologies and design trade-offs among consistency, availability and performance in distributed systems, C/C is desired.
The Active Data Guard development group is part of the Database Systems group, which is responsible for high availability, replication and system technologies.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals, who can solve complex problems under limited supervision. Our projects are driven by customer needs and by innovative ideas that percolate from the bottom-up as well as top-down. We are looking for talented software engineers who can come up with innovative ideas, build consensus around them, and deliver solutions in a timely fashion. The following skills are valued:
Proficient in C. SQL proficiency is a plus
Familiar with relational database and operating system concepts
Good understanding of concurrent programming concepts

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
