This is a 1-year contract position.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred (or equivalent work experience) Education and Experience A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a health-related field such as Nursing, Pharmacy or Public Health is required A Master's Degree in a health-related field such as Nursing, Pharmacy or Public Health is preferred Project management experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in the EHR/Provider space Demonstrated senior-level project management experience Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word Experience managing complex projects Experience managing EHR Projects is preferred Experience with Microsoft Visio is preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and work collaboratively with resources at various levels within the organization (including executives, C-suite, providers, nurses, pharmacists and other office staff) Ability to manage and work collaboratively with various IT groups, vendors and third-party contractors Excellent prioritization, time management and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills A strong work ethic and ability to work independently WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities Create a detailed project plan, including the schedule and work breakdown structure, and assign resources/teams Develop project tools (status report, SharePoint, agendas, minutes/action items, issues/risk lists, decision log, SBAR) Develop, communicate and oversee the training, testing and go-live/change/downtime/support strategies Create and assist in presenting the kick-off presentation, including the implementation methodology Track and report project progress; capture minutes/action items and manage issues/risks Ensure approval, completion and configuration of workflow design Ensure documentation of unique workflows for use in training and testing Ensure approval, completion and build of application content based on gathered requirements and system review Identify, build and test go-live critical reports Complete unit and system testing, including Registration, Clinical Documentation, Orders, Pharmacy, BCMA and Talyst testing Complete required integration with Jail management system, EMPI and Talyst Prepare for integrated testing event; reserve testing location, create integrated test scripts, and identify testers Conduct integrated testing event according to testing strategy Resolve all critical/high-level issues prior to go-live; medium/low should be worked on an ongoing basis Conduct training for approximately 170 end-users according to training strategy Work with vendor to create and execute cutover plan Identify SuperUsers and floor support for go-live event; provide schedule by location Identify, collect, track and report daily on go-live issues, management and resolution Provide project closure report to ESC and PSC for review and approval Interested?
